Services provided by the Clerk of Courts Office:

  1. The Clerk of Courts files and maintains all documentation to preserve the official records of the courts for the following case types:

    • Forfeitures
    • Traffic
    • Civil
    • Small Claims
    • Family
    • Paternity
    • Juvenile Civil Cases
    • Prisoner Inmate Cases

  4. Collect fines, fees, forfeitures, restitutions due county
  5. The Clerk of Court's office accepts payments at the counter and over the phone by credit card. There is a 3% fee for all cards i.e. Master Card - Visa - Discover.

Duties

The purpose of the Clerk of Courts Office is to provide record and financial management for the court system.

The Clerk of Court preserves court records for the required time lines. The Clerk of Court manages collections for all municipal, county and state agencies in the court related actions in Juneau County. The Clerk of Courts provides jury management for the court system. It is our goal to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to the public and agencies in person, by phone or fax.
